This place has great service, and the quality of the food is excellent. I am always a bit wary of meats served in various formats (rolls, shredded, deep fried, etc.) but Isakaya is great at cooking the diverse food and their ingredients seem fresh. It's totally worth the price, but it's probably not a good spot if you're looking for something quick and cheap.

ramen, black cod, salad, unagi. the Unagi was the best of the bunch (but it's hard to mess up). The rest were mediocre - I get the sense it was "rushed" - no real care taken - food came out bland. Certainly not a gourmet experience.

Great sushi! Try the eel and the aburi sushi ( salmon that is burned with a torch and served with an amazing sauce)

Great food. If they had (white) tablecloths on the tables the whole restaurant would look professional.
