All my animals have gone here for every problem they`ve had. They helped us fight for our one kitty and were very supportive when it came time to say goodbye.
I can tell these Vets and Techs really care about my beasties and feeling like they have their best interests at heart make me feel like I have the critters in good hands.

I used to love this place at the begining, Dr. Chong seemed to really care about my dogs and the front staff were (still are) great. However, after a few visits and by the time my dog needed to be neutered there was a diferent doctor do the surgery! She said they shared the practice and I didn't think much of it. She was great and spent about 30mins explaining me how the surgery went and how to properly care for him after the surgery. We loved her and the next time we went in when we got our second dog again we were seeing another doctor and by this time we weren't sure we liked it. Just like us we would like them to only see one doctor and for the doctor to be familiar with them. You now go in and it is a diferent doctor each time. I didn't mind paying the extra bucks because I find them a bit pricey but loved the atrention they were getting at the begining, now I am doing my research to perhaps switch them to a diferent vet. The vet techs are great!!

The place is pretty small, only have one doctor . its new in this area but the people who work at the front told me they open for 4 years already. I dont know why she have to lie about this it doesn't make anything sense .
Now about the only doctor who work there, Dr Derek Chong,
My dog has diarrhea and vomiting problem, because the food I fed him on his birthday which was a little bit too rich for him. the doctor tried to persuade me to an ultrasound for $375 and he told me the ultrasound is same price as an X ray but my dog had an X-ray three month ago at the Masonville hospital and it was only half the price compared to his. He said his place is cheaper and his partner Dr Etue, is a Board Certified Radiologist and told me that I must make decided within 10 mins or the Dr Etue will leaves. he will not give my dog any treatment for his vomiting before I do the ultrasound . He also want my dog to stay over night and told me it will cost $800 to $1000, if he need surgery its $1500 and up to $3000. He really tried to scam me because he thought he could use to status to get me to pay more than what my pet needed.
So I choose to leave but it would cost me $120 for the initial inspection but he didn't even check my pets temperature, his body, heart beat or anything. He also wanted me to sign a release form saying he had no liability if something was to happen to my pet after I leave the premise.
After I paid the fee and sign the waiver I took a taxi to Masonville hospital, and it cost me only cost me 350 dollars which includes the exam, fluid, treatment , pills , food to bring home , and my dog only stay there couple hour, to watch his vomiting and diarrhea which by the time we got home, he was back to normal. No x-ray or anything was needed. The doctors said my dog don't need an ultrasound, which i didn't ask till she finish the treatment , she said my dog is weak and he just need fluid to give him some energy which make a lot sense to me.
For all pet owners I'd advise you to avoid this animal clinic because in my experience they are not qualified to be taking care of pets. their main objective is to clean your wallet out.
