About 25 people in line, Friday 4:30pm, 2 tellers working. Stood for 10 min in line and saw 2 customers get served. Had to go, do the math. Crazy!

You know, I was really scared when I booked an appointment at this branch to open my account. I had booked it without looking at the ratings on google and then when I saw a 2 star review for a BANK I was SO WORRIED. I decided, no it will be fine I will just go and we will see. Here I am over two months later and still dealing with such incompetency. I have loved scotiabank before this branch, heck I work here now but corporate but this branch brings shame to this organization. Opening my account, the SENIOR advisor I worked with forgot to ask me to sign a form when I already left the branch and drove home, I had to turn around and come back to sign ONE form. I deposit a few cheques a week later at this same branch. ALL of my money was on hold because of ONE cheque, including my direct deposit PAY CHEQUE, INSURANCE CLAIM and other deposits as well which had nothing to do with this separate cheque. Waiting a month later until my senior advisor tells me "from what I see it's not frozen only that one cheque is frozen". Like are you kidding me? You are going to lie to me right now when I haven't been able to use my debit at all and incurred late charges to my credit card. OKAY. This already was the last straw for me. I decided to talk to a branch in Toronto for new inquiries because this place is an absolute joke. They tell me they needed my mother to sign a form and photo copy her ID. Two. Simple. Tasks. I'm out of town so I have to tell my mother to go in alone and talk to them and they will have it all organized because like I said. Two. Simple. Tasks. I get a phone call a few days later. "Oh sorry, I forgot to get your moms ID". Are you serious? It's not like my mom has nothing to do she works and doesn't have time for this type of incompetency and neither do I especially when I am out of town. This is absolutely ridiculous and I for sure will never come to this branch or recommend anyone to come here or even bank with Scotia just incase this kind of thing will happen to them. Absolutely horrible. Even worse than TD in the states and I thought they were dumb.

Poor customer support .... managers are useless :( can't wait to move my mortgage to a different bank :( not worth wasting your time :(

Always have a great experience at this location! Staff are super friendly and always helpful, and I absolutely love that they're finally open late and on Saturday's!!
