Our experience at the Belmont was ok overall but I am giving a two star review because of my main dish. I had a house made pasta with a Bolognese sauce. The flavours in the sauce were very flat and my noodles were slightly overdone. I expected a lot more for the price.

Went for brunch here, and wasn't disappointed. I had got the biscuit benedict, and my friend got the chicken waffles. Both were great, small portions although. Also could have done without the rushed attitude of our server.

Well-flavoured meals with realistic portion sizes and soothing, intimate atmosphere. Prices are on the high side but for good reason....although I do feel if something is on special, the price should be as well ($31 for a seafood stew today was a bit overpriced). With that said, the bolognese here is worth every penny. Every. Single. One. I recommend the pastas in general. Staff are excellent and very welcoming. Great alcohol selection. My second time here and will visit again.
