Amey's is the best taxi company in Kingston. I haven't had had many issues with them. Until now that is. The reason I'm giving them three stars is because after telling one driver I didn't need help, he took it upon himself to take my daughter OUT of her stroller. He did that in the five seconds it took me to put her blanket into the car and turn around to get her. She does not take kindly to strangers and I was severely unimpressed by this.

Used them for the very first time since moving to the area. Called and spoke to the dispatcher who was very kind and polite and asked for a taxi to my residence. Received a text message a few minutes later telling me that a vehicle has been dispatched and the car arrived a few minutes later. The driver was very kind, polite and we had a great conversation. I can honestly say that the whole experience was a pleasant one, and would use their services again.

Poor experience using their service in the past of drivers leaving the pickup location within seconds of arriving, even in front of me sometimes. Was almost hit by one of their drivers last night around 11:30 while crossing the road (with right of way). Would rate lower if I could, but can't. Stick with Modern.
