I would highly recommend all services with Lifemark. All staff are very knowledgeable, helpful and friendly. They give comfort when dealing with painful, stressful health issues.

In response to my hip complaint, my physician prescribed physiotherapy. She didn't mention any particular physiologist so I just selected one that was convenient to me. Lifemark was also a familiar name so I showed up unannounced within a few days of seeing my physician.
The receptionist at the front desk was very good and quickly made me comfortable filling out a medical history sheet. I was assigned to Mark and he, too, made me comfortable for my introductory 50-minute session.
I came back for five subsequent 30-minute sessions which alleviated my hip complaint. What I learned was that in my reaction to my hip soreness, I was favouring it and thereby throwing things out of whack. Mark provided me with physiotherapy and showed me how to do a series of exercises on my own that would balance things out. He gave me printed illustrations which reminded me how to do them at home. Months later, I'm still doing those exercises.

I have used the services of Lifemark Physiotherapy here in Kingston after suffering a rare and complex injury at work. The team at Lifemark are superb! They've worked seamlessly with my WSIB Case Managers and Nurse Consultants and have been the driving force behind my recovery.
Its nice to be able to enter the clinic and be greeted time after time with a friendly "Hi, Greg!" Catie is fantastic and so pleasant to talk to both in person and on the phone and a wonderful first impression to have when arriving for each visit. The entire team is extremely personable and professional. So nice to experience especially when it seems harder to find in organizations these days!
The bulk of my Physiotherapy and Recovery has been under the guidance and care of Physiotherapist Mike Twigg. Since being injured, I've seen so many doctors and healthcare professionals who have made me feel like just another case or file and lack what I call good "Bedside manner." Mike is just the opposite. I can genuinely say he has taken the time to listen, not only to what I've had to say verbally, but what my body has had to say, physically. He takes the time to explain things in a very clear and concise manner. Every step of the way I have trusted Mike's guidance and expertise and its been tremendously reassuring to know I can tell him exactly how my body is feeling and that he genuinely hears, understands and decides upon a course of action accordingly. I appreciate the fact that he has taught me not only what to do to best aid in my recovery but also, just as importantly, what not to do which could hamper my progress. When your body is hurt it is so very difficult to trust someone else moving and manipulating it, but I have complete trust in allowing Mike to do so. I count myself very fortunate to have had Mike as a Physiotherapist.
Assistant Sebastien has been a great help as well, always there to ensure I was doing well with encouraging words while helping me accomplish the treatments and physical exercises necessary towards achieving recovery. When you're in a world of pain due to injury, its very comforting in having the empathetic and reassuring nature that Sebastien brings.
I'd recommend Lifemark Physiotherapy without hesitation. If you've had bad experiences with Physio in the past, you owe it to yourself to give Lifemark a shot. If you've never had any experience with physio before, do it right and make Lifemark your first. 5 STARS!

I had a workplace injury.... I was going to another clinic and paying out of pocket hoping to be reimbursed for a portion of the cost, thinking it was a sure fire way to receive REAL treatment. I later spoke with WSIB who asked that I consider consulting a clinic that they already had programs, direct communication and billing with. I admit I was reluctant as I thought this would mean I'd receive bare minimum consideration and treatment....but my visits to Lifemark were all SO much more effective than what I had received previously! I saw progress with every visit, they put a lot of consideration into my situation... They also worked around my schedule- and were very accommodating on days when I had my 5 year old in tow....⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐. Almost worth getting another injury.
