One of my all time favs. It's basically a somewhat glorified greasy spoon, but the food is always great, and the staff friendly. One of the best brunches in town!
Of course you vant leave without trying the steak. Go for derby (their home seasoning) on the pit. Some other favorites are the blooming onion and pickles spears to begin. Just dont go in expecting high class and you will likely enjoy it.

Used to be good. It's gone down hill. Remember that delicious coleslaw? Well, that's all it is now, a memory, it's now gross. Most of the food doesn't taste all that great.
I definitely won't be back.

I am beyond disappointed in this restaurant. Not only is it dated looking like they haven’t renovated since the 90’s. But their name sake streak was poor at best. I asked for medium rare and I got well done.
The service here was also very poor. I do not recommend Steak and Stein to anyone.

Had to be one of the worst restaurants I've ever been too. The staff was nice but that was it. The interior needs to be brought out of the 90s. The food was terrible. I order a steak because it sounded like a safe bet. I asked for it rare, it was the flattest piece of meat I'm ever seen and it was like old shoe leather. I would not recommend Steak and Stein to anyone. Needs some major updates from their menu to the interior of the restaurant itself.

Last visit was not good. Steak I ordered was medium rare. It came well done and cold. Sides of mushrooms and onions cold as well. No one came to ask me how my meal was. Asked for baked potatoes and got mashed. Not a good experience at all. Service usually better than this. Was only offered a small reduction in the price of my meal.
