I love Dr. Dawood, she is very compassionate and kind. However, my experience with this clinic has made it impossible for me to want to revisit. I have been very patient with clinic as I know they are extremely busy and have many patients. However, I was put on hold on the phone for more than 20 minutes by the receptionist. I disconnected and tried to call back again but my call will not go through. It makes me wonder if they put me on hold, have forgotten about me, and went to lunch (because I called around 12:30pm). I do agree that the staff need some retraining. If there was better organization, I believe Dr. Dawood would be able to serve her patients better.

She was my family doctor. One of the best doctor and kind hearted person I ever met in my entire life. She was super kind toward me and my premature son. Great Doctor!
I wish she was accepting new patients so I could be her patient again.

A pathetic excuse of a medical center. I came in on a Saturday, to the walk in clinic for an appointment. It of course was full and there was a long wait which I expected. What I was not expecting was to have my wife and I ejected from the only available seats while waiting. There were two seats in the pharmacy which is connected to the waiting room. There was absolutely no one sitting in those seats and no one in the pharmacy. My wife and I were ejected from these seats and made to stand in the middle of the waiting room. Made to stand holding my new born for over an hour before abseat became available. Meanwhile there were two empty seats that never had a single person sit in them. I think that this is sad and petty. Making people stand directly beside two empty seats which no one is waiting for.

Even thou she just knew to me, you can tell how professional she is and nice and kind. Can't believe some people give a bad comment against her...i even spread to my friends and work place how good is Dr.Dawood....keep up the good work and God bless.

I am actually shocked by some of the reviews I have read here. I have had nothing but a good experience at this clinic. Dr. Dawood has been mine and my boyfriends family doctor since we moved to Nova Scotia almost 3 years ago. Usually I only go once a year for girl check ups but the occasional time I have had to go in for other things. Is there a wait?... yes sometimes but Dr. Dawood is so caring and gives you 100% percent of her attention. She don't rush you in and out like other clinics. I have never felt rushed!
Also I have never had a problem with the receptionist. She has always been polite to me. I work in a clinic setting myself and I know when a client is frustrated with other situations it's easy for them To take it out on the receptionist but that's not fair. And it is okay for her to stand up for herself if your getting mad at her for stuff that is out of her control.
I would recommend this clinic/ doctor to anyone!!!!
