Wow! Popped in here for a beer tasting and have to say, one of the nicest locations for a drink in the City Of Fredericton! Owner showed us around the new building and they really have done a great job with it.If ur a beer lover or just want to see an old train yard building fully restored, then this is the place to go!!

For years, I dreamed someone would take advantage of this amazing location. I'm glad it was Picaroons. I think the interior could be a better (I kept sliding out of my seat lol... they have some sort of matte-type finish. In any case, the view from the perimeter counter/bar on the south-facing side of the building is great. It's nice to watch joggers go by as I drink ;)

Tried all the beer on tap and the cider. Melonhead is the best beer by far. The food was very mediocre. The seafood sandwich and veggie curry were quite bland. It's a counter service restaurant with a very large seating area, decorated in a kind of commercial hipster style. They had cards and games and reading material which was awesome and the service was friendly. Would go back for the games and service, but maybe skip the meal!

Excellent, personable staff. Good food and fresh beer that's bound to satisfy the Picaroons fan. No set beer flights - even better is the "choose your own mix" of samplers! Large selection of branded swag.
