For students considering this school for their future:
My experience
I went in delighted for a tour and was in a great mood from my previous interview with EC (also downtown). After waiting, immediately the head teacher had me sit down to fill out an electornic form, and since I tend to be quiet at first I just filled it out, but noticed how strange it was when just going in for a tour.
She asked me questions and seemed to think I had already made my decision, and told her I hadnt decided yet and was eager for the tour and free service offered after.
I was so impressed with the building layout, all the stations, classrooms, supplies. It had everything I was looking for! I then decided I would choose this school or Eveline Charles (where I was treated with so much kindess and respect) and was in a tough spot to choose!
On the way back to the office it was mentioned if I had an account to access my transcript, and if I could get started by sending it to them, to which I responded I was not sure, and did not like the unnecessary pressure.
After going back to the office I was asked which program I would take and I still wasnt sure if I wanted to do Hair or Esthetics yet. She asked me to log in to get my transcript for a head start. My password did not work and I told her I could do it next time or at home, but she encouraged me to choose 'forgot password' which I did. She had me log into my Gmail which I also forgot the password to - probably because I felt nervous at this point which is unlike me. She also encouraged me to change my Gmail password.
After printing out the transcript I felt so humiliated. She proceeded to actually highlight marks and question me on attendance and grades and asking about my personal mental health.
She was aware that I was a 21 year old mature student and qualify no matter what marks I got in highschool.
She then informed me that she needed to call in the head of the school to see what she thinks.
We waited for 15 minutes as I tried to engage in small talk but could clearly feel her discomfort.
As you could guess this did not end well and I was told they would only reconsider me if i re took my highschool Math. This was laughable to me but also so unnessacary for just going for a school TOUR.
I was not offered my free service and left in tears. Later to realize this helped me make my decision easily.
Basically: this school has it all, but not on a personable level. Caring more about appearance than quality was very obvious to me.

Had a haircut today for the first time at this place. Tanya the student over dere had attention to detail and put so much effort to give me the exact haircut that I wanted. Totally LOVEd this place!

Ive been to the college multiple times got eyelash extensions and pedicures. Had excellent experiences great students staff is a amazing and professional. Judy and Destiny the instructors are amazing they access the students while getting the services done and assure that the work is perfected. I give th 11 out of 10 thank you MC college !

i walked in looking to get a hair cut ,they were able to get in me in right away. The student I had was professional and courteous. I walked out with exactly what I asked for and at a reasonable price would definitely recommend.
