Other than Co-op, SDM and Mr. Sub there aren't many stores worth stopping in to. The Salvation Army Thrift Store is NOT accessible for a large wheelchair. A new thrift shop has just opened and the owner seems lovely and the store shows promise. A good many store fronts are empty.

Was ok, a little bit seedy part of the city but it's getting better now that they have all this construction going on. Was told that they would be slowly renovating 17th Ave bit by bit. I really hope so

I gave it two stars because I wasn't shot or stabbed while shopping. Went better than expected. ^_^

Well enough. It's got a Co-op, and a Co-op Liquor, my fav place to get craft beer. Shoppers has Canada Post, and some decent deals. After that, there's not much left that I can speak of..
