terrible i rented a car for 11 days they told me 50$ a day and 30$ for insurance do the math 880$ plus tax should be 1050? roughly ?? NO came to 1650 they gave me car with 2/3 tank and i needed to return car before 2:00 or they would charge me for an extra day i rush there to return it and they told me its going to be 3$ a litre i was suppose to return the car on a sunday and they told me it was going to be 1080$ and my credit card limit is 1000$ i call on a sunday to explain that to them and to ask how much more it was going to be for an extra day they told me 1020$ !!! i save 60 for an extra day?? so the next day i call them to say im on way to bank and il be right there the "Manager" is working that day and is telling me my bill is now going to be 1350+++ i return car dirty and low gas and my bill was 1650.......

We rented a vehicle during the month of August 2014, to go on a family vacation. I don't have a problem with returning the vehicle with the gas in the same amount as what I took it out as. I do wish that Avis would fill the tank up to full. Instead of renting it out to us at 3/4 full. It was returned the night before the clerk told us they didn't have a chance to clean it from the previous renter. I didn't fill the tank up to the 'exact' mark that the vehicle was taken out on. I had to go back to the gas station and put $7.00 more in the gas tank. So if the company Avis is going to make a fus (and they did make a fus) that we didn't quite fill the tank up the first time. Then I will comment on the fact that the vehicle was not cleaned before we rented it. If Avis is going to be so anal about the gas amount then the next time I rent from anywhere I will make a fus over the fact that my rental was not cleaned out nor the gas 'filled' up to the top. Then there would be not quilbling on anyone's minds.
