My sister highly recommended Dr Katz; she was bringing her pets from Burnaby.I first met Dr Katz about 8+yrs ago on an emergency visit when she treated my seriously ill cat who continued to be misdiagnosed & treated by another vet. If it hadn't of been for her he would have died! Needless to say I'll never go to another vet but Dr Katz Pillar!! My cat Panda lived to 18. Dr Katz continues to display her professionalism, exemplary knowledge & sincere caring of my pets. She has saved my 3.5yr old cat Velcro 2x in the past 3yrs & most recently has aided us dramatically with our 15yr Huntaway, Roxy. My parents were clients until their dog passed & my father in-law is a current client. Her facilities are well equipped & she has u present in everything she is doing. She doesn't rush her examines nor pushes u to make haste decisions. She devotes her time to her patients thus unexpectedly can run behind - wouldn't want it any other way!! Dr Katz is by far the best vet I've ever dealt with.

I met Katz last night in a emergency situation with my seriously ill 15 year old dog. She was very professional and explained everything in detail. She did everything she could to save my dogs life not only did she open up her clinic on a Sunday but she stayed until 9pm giving my dog the fluids she needed. She was very through in explaining everything she was putting in the IV and how it would help. I am forever greateful to Katz for what she did.

The vet was nice, and all but she didn't ask me permission to give my dog treats she just assumed she could, and she ran a few tests and did injections with out telling me she was going to , and I ended up paying for all of it. Which is understandable I would have to pay for tests and injections, but I would like to know costs and the reasons why she decided to do that. Another thing I didn't like was my appointment was at 5:30 and I didn't get in until 7 it was a very long waiting time by the end of appointment it was close to 9. I just had a bad experience with her; it could have been just me, but I won't go back.

One of the best vet offices i have ever been in this lady is wonderful i brought in a little stray kitten and she talked me through everything we have a long way to recovery but she made it alot easier

Dr. Kattz is wonderful! She is always thourough, gentle, caring and compassionate. We have complete faith in her expertise and hosesty and would definitely recommend her to anyone in need a good Vet.
