They made an big issue about the payment. I paid one week in advance and I told them I will stay one more week if I am satisfied.
On the third day they asked my girlfriend about the payment when she wanted to leave the hotel for breakfast . I was not there because I leaved the Hotel earlier. My girlfriend did not know all details about the payment exactly, because I paid the room, but she knew we would stay there for at least another week or two.
The staff, from which I strongly assume is mostly the family of the owner, didn't won't to let her leave the hotel unless she paid the room.
I know mistakes happen, but I expect anyway to be treated as an customer, polite and nicely to clarify any issue. Exactly the opposite happened, they treated my girlfriend very poor, in an tone and volume no customer should be treated without an very good reason. Yes, my girlfriend answered in the same tone back as one of them (a junger male) threatened her. To clarify, all my belongings (clothes, gopro, photo camera...) were in the room, my girlfriend had just an small lady purse with here( I leaved before with just an laptop bag) , and she did not try to leave on force when she was stopped, she just called me, after she realized she can not solve the situation on her own. I know her a long time and I never see her upset like this.
I thought, as I arrived to clarify the situation, I will need to show my recipe to prove that I paid already, but after my arrival, they checked their papers ( I did not had the feeling they did it before) and suddenly, in less then an minute there was no issue.
On the "good" side: they refunded me without discussion.
They did not apologize, even if this was clearly their fault. They even tried to find excuses with no logical background.
The room was ok for the price, but the cleaning was poor (not awful). I did not eat there so I don't know about the food.
Please excuse my English, this is my first recession I ever wrote, and I wanted to reach more people with it, because this kind of behavior should not be tolerated.
