Tourism	Tourism in Brazil is a growing sector and key to the economy of several regions of the country. The country had 5. 1 million visitors in 2010, ranking in terms of the international tourist arrivals as the second main destination in South America, and third in Latin America after Mexico and Argentina. Revenues from international tourists reached US$5. 9 billion in 2010, not only recovering from the 2008-2009 economic crisis, but reaching its historical highest.
Language	Portuguese is the official language of Brazil, and is spoken by more than 99% of the population. Minority languages include indigenous languages, and languages of more recent European and Asian immigrants. The population speaks or signs approximately 210 languages, of which 80 are indigenous.
Cuisine	Brazilian cooking, while it has many similarities with that of its South American neighbors, is distinct and uniquely delicious. Stretching from the Amazon in the north, through the fertile plantations of the central coast and on to the southern pampas, the food of Brazil spans a unique mix of cultures and cuisines. The original population contributed popular ingredients like cassava and guaraná. African slaves influenced the cuisine of the coastal states, especially Bahia. And around the country, a Portuguese heritage is reflected in a variety of dishes. <br /> Root vegetables such as cassava (locally known as mandioca, aipim, or macaxeira), yams, and peanuts[citation needed], and fruits like açaí, cupuaçu, mango, papaya, guava, orange, passionfruit, pineapple, and hog plum are among the local ingredients used in cooking. Brazilian pine nuts called pinhão grow in a tree that is abundant in the southern part of Brazil, and are a popular national snack, as well as a lucrative export. Rice and beans are an extremely common dish, as are fish, beef and pork.
Currency	The real ( /reɪˈɑːl/; Brazilian Portuguese: [ʁeˈaw]; pl. reais) is the present-day currency of Brazil. Its sign is R$ and its ISO code is BRL. It is subdivided into 100 centavos ("hundredths"). In Brazil, the decimal separator is a comma, and a period may be used as thousands separator, as in "R$ 123. 456, 78".
Niggtlife	Brazil isn’t only natural wonders as the Amazon, the Iguassu Falls, or the magnificent unspoiled beaches of the Northeast. Brazil is also excellent exotic food, good shopping opportunities or entertainment and animated nightlife, all at reasonable or low prices. For nightlife and fun one of the best options is, undoubtedly, Rio de Janeiro. But there are other options. Near Rio, if you want a more selective and conventional animation, with lots of restaurants, good food and excellent bars or discos, places such as Buzios and Angra are excellent options. And so is Sao Paulo. Though mainly a business capital, Sao Paulo may easily satisfy the most exigent demands on entertainment and fun. And the same may be applied to great destinies like Fortaleza, Sao Salvador da Bahia or Recife. Their nightlife hasn’t the glamour, the intensity and the diversity of Rio’s, but has charms of their own
