From the perspective of an English speaker:
There seemed to be no English translations to any of the exhibits, making it a bunch of machines without any context.
The only thing I was looking forward to was the panorama view once I noticed the rest wasn't worth a visit, sadly it was closed due to construction works!
Personally I wouldn't pay this another visit.

I really wanted to give this place a five star rating. The idea is excellent (industry and labor) and the place is well thought of (considering the important place that Ghent has in the history of Europe with its textile industry)... There are a ton of cool machines and plenty of opportunity to look at them close up - some of them are even demonstrated. But for international visitors this place is a bit of a challenge - no signs or audio guides or even guide books in other languages... The staff is friendly but not particularly well versed on the content of the museum....
