Lobby is nice but rest of the hotel is very dated. The rooms are comfy. Hardly any meal choices for vegetarians or vegans.. Good location

Get there in good time to sit, or simply climb another set of stairs to another bank of seats. The exercises are wonderful to watch, with trainers helping rider and horse to learn some of the intricate skills that go into the performances. To hear the occasional commentary more clearly sit to the left of the centre as you go in - otherwise, simply enjoy the power and nobility of the horses. Note - rarely do they perform the leaps or standing exercises on the mornings, but we did see elaborate trots and manoeuvres.

the hotel itself is promises a solid and satisfying stay with lots of historical hints and great staff. the lobby bar is a nice place to chill out and prepare for a business meeting, with friendly service, delicious snacks, rather expensive pricing, but calm and beautiful.

Great old-modern style hotel in the center of Vienna. Easy connection to the airport with train S7 at Rennweg station. Very welcoming staff at the front desk.

Yes everything is good (location, space, bars, area). But the room temperature is centrally controlled. In September, the room is too cold and every night I woke up. Could not sleep more more than 2 or 4 hrs straight. The most basic function of hotel is sleep - right? Failing this, I cannot give good rating. The hotel said 'this building is old; you can only change temperature a little bit; we have to change the temperature of all the hotel rooms". So they know the problem but there is no solution. I stay in Marriott 20 or 30 nights a year worldwide. Never had any problems. Very disappointing. Suppose you have a whole day business meeting next day and you spent 8 hours trying to fall a sleep over night but manage only for 4 hours. Disaster. Guaranteed to see sunrise.
