I had a fairly average visit here. Booked a 90min massage. I was heavily pressured both before and after the massage to buy expensive products and it made me very uncomfortable. I was also urged to "upgrade" my massage and eventually gave in and agreed to an extra service (at a cost) on top before they would begin.
My "90" minute massage was actually 60 minutes long, to my dismay, because I had to spend ten minutes filling out forms at the beginning, being asked repeatedly about which skincare products I use and why, and being urged to "upgrade" my service. I was then given much too long to get undressed, and my masseuse finished before my prescribed time. I know I only spent 60mins getting massaged because I checked the time immediately before and after the massage.
The massage itself was fine, enjoyable, nothing extraordinary, but good. I would have enjoyed it much more if I'd simply been allowed to relax and be pampered and had NOT been harassed to buy products, try products, upgrade my massage, and given "advice about what she had noticed about my skin during the massage" (and all the products they have in stock that would fix them). Sheesh!!
