Huge portion, nice beer and juicy pork are the attracting features. But the skin of pork schnitzel is too hard to chew. Well, actually the skin was not crispy at all in my opinion. And my boyfriend put a great effort to cut the meat down ( luckily he was there, I don’t have the strength to cut it). Also the space between tables are tiny, and can be very noisy that we had to yell at each other.

Great craft beer, especially for the happy hour. Waiter at the bar was awesome. At first, I sat outside and the waitress came off a bit rude, which is the only downgrade to 4 stars. If you're looking just to drink, head on in to the bar. Great atmosphere

Very joyful and vibrant atmosphere provided by the live band. Portions were huge, one platter apparently 'designed for two' fed 4 of us. Beers were excellent but it was quite pricey and it added up quite quickly. The food was very good, with a hearty serving of pork belly cooked to perfection with a side of apple compote, assorted sausages, schnitzel with gravy. However, pork knuckle which was too fatty my taste.

It's good but not great as their Billboard just outside The Rocks will lead you to believe that the portions are huge. I ordered pork sausages with sauerkraut and gravy at $25 and to wash it down I ordered a 1 litre of dark wheat beer ($25). Both tasted fine but the size of the sausages was small (they were the size of breakfast sausages). My wife's meal of chicken in lettuce cups was good but we definitely needed the side dish of chips to fill us up. Service was good (Wednesday lunchtime), there is a choice to sit outside or if windy you can sit either inside the restaurant or in enclosed glass screened off area. Pro - service was good for us, Con - portion size was poor and didn't match the claim on the Billboard.

This place is wonderful, the atmosphere is joyful, staff attentive and food is simply amazing. It's selection of German beers and foods were wonderful, my girlfriend and I went on multiple occasions to eat here. The only thing that holds it back is pricing, it would be great if there are more options for cheaper meal deals. Other than that, if you have the money to spend you'll definitely get what you paid for.
Also the beer is great, I don't normally drink but the stuff that's served is brilliant.
