I'm not one to write comments but I could not stop myself from writing this. I ordered a beef kebab and even mentioned it's for a pregnant lady and everything was fine...a few customers came and they ordered chicken kebab while my kebab was nearly done...the raw chicken kept touching the cooked beef.. I pointed it out out to the person making the kebabs, he said and I quote " it's 400 degrees not a problem" . I personally worked in a kitchen and I know it is a big problem..anyways in my response I said " brother it's also for a pregnant lady who can quite easily fall sick" he responded by saying " I don't give a rat's ass, you should cook at home then" .
I was left speechless and walked away. That pregnant lady was my wife and she was extremely hurt hearing what the man had to say, during the time of Ramadan and even worrying about food safety for other people. I would never go there again I'm sorry..and have lost all respect for the shop and this man.
Didn't not expect this behavior from a fellow Muslim brother during the holy month of Ramadan!

I tried this place seeing the good reviews... But honestly my experience here was pretty bad. I come from the Middle East and normal street food there from cheap restaurants tasted better. The service was pretty good. But the food was really below expectations.

Have been eating at Desi Hut for years. Staff are always nice. Food is very tasty and delicious - sometimes a bit oily but I guess that just enhances the flavour. I have found it a bit bland when we order 'mild' dishes (when I'm with someone who's sensitive to chilli) - but otherwise always really good. The serving sizes are really generous and at a reasonble price
