This beautiful park has lush green grass and ample mature trees offering shade that would be increasingly welcome as the weather warms. Of course these qualities mean that it attracts plenty of locals who understandably want to enjoy this asset in their community. So why only 3 stars? Simple: I could find only one, yes one, songle toilet! How can a council provide such a wonderful park in the city with such inadequate facilities?

Great park for both kids and adults. Plenty of space to be social or alone. Added value of Annette Kellerman aquatic centre and close proximity to Newtown.

Good location for throwing sticks and balls to dogs. Has a playground for toddlers. Also, a swimming /gym /cafe complex (Annette Kellerman Aquatic Centre) and bbqs. Quite places for sitting on benches under trees and watching crested pigeons, noisy miners, ibis and ravens. A haven in the busy inner west.

Nice park where dog owners let their furry creatures roam around. There is a playground for the kids to enjoy themselves and several bbq spots. A pool is also situated on the corners with a cafe nearby

Great park to chill out, have a picnic or let the kids climb the rocket spaceship while you cook the bbq! Lots of space and right next to the pool and across the road from a coffee shop. What more can you ask for?
