I have been one of Sharon's student for the past 10 years and I find her classes are great as she treats everyone to suit their needs. She is a very kind teacher and goes out of her way to help her students. I have recommended her to many of my friends and family and they have all loved how she treats everyone. For me Sharon has been the best Yoga teacher that I have had. I would also like to add that one of my cousin from Switzerland and one from Italy, attended one Course of Yoga with Sharon and they both loved it. They told me that they miss Sharon's classes very much.

Sharon is the best yoga teacher - I had stopped going to yoga because I have lots of pain and joint trouble but Sharon has managed to get me back into it and loving it. She carefully crafts modifications for each student so anyone can participate. These are also lovely small personal classes - not millions of people crowded in. And in a lovely calm space. I always come floating out of class I'm so relaxed. Thanks Sharon!

Sharon at Centred Self Yoga is an awesome teacher. She radiates a very positive energy and reassuring calm that will put even the busiest mind (like mine:) to rest. I went to see her for yoga therapy because I still had backpain after a car accident over a year ago and a mutual acquaintance mentioned that she had helped him with his backpain.

Sharon was very thorough in learning about my previous history and treatments via phone and email before we even met. This way we could get right to work when I saw her at her friendly bright studio.

Other than the physical therapists I saw in the past who gave me "one size fits all" exercises she gave me different sets of yoga and breathing exercises: Do this when your back really hurts...do these(more challenging ) exercises on days when you feel better....and so on. She wrote the exercises down for me, pointing out when i should breathe in and when out, because in the beginning that was the hardest for me to remember. Unfortunately I only had time for two sessions before I had to return home to Los Angeles, but
even working with Sharon for such a short time has done wonders for my back!!! I feel much better and I have a way to calm down the pain on "bad days" and a way to strenthen my back when I feel better. I actually have less and less bad days. Added benefit: Some of the stretching and breathing exercises I do before bed even help me sleep.

Overall I can highly recommend Sharon as a yoga therapist, but I could also imagine taking regular yoga classes with her (if I lived in Sydney) because I like her calm energy a lot.
