Food is adequate quality that as my nearest pub, I fairly often return, but I would not outstanding. Reasonable range of beers.

Solid corner pub, recently renovated but kept the "local pub" vibe. Tap beer selection is fantastic now 🍻 (no VB here). Food is basic (burgers, schnitty) but great. Always somewhere to sit and watch the world go by out those big corner windows. Also has a great little bottle shop round the side (and they also sell icecreams 🍦).

A pub I avoided until it was renovated, now great atmosphere with friendly staff and good selection of drinks. Food started out well, got better, but now seems to have dropped off with some of the more interesting dishes abandoned. This leaves the menu looking much like every other pub, which is a shame.
