I went early on a Wednesday evening around 5.30pm before the crowd. Service was fast, the Mary's burger was pretty good. All burgers come with fries which was a good extra consideration other burger joints only offer a premium burger without fries for approx the same price range. It's dark, rustic and grungie. Great if that's the mood your after.

Come here for a quality pint and a local-legends burger from the one and only Mary's! Marked by a little red light and nothing else in a dimly-lit alleyway, you enter the dark doors to be greeted by a bustling small bar with punk and rock tunes rolling over the place. The staff are friendly and casual, and make fitting in easy. The beers are great, the prices more than reasonable. You'll be hard pressed to find someone who doesn't like the joint!

I've been to a number of burger places here in Sydney and this is my favorite. Five Points and Chur Burger are quite good but the simplicity and quality of Mary's is the tops. I've only ever gotten Mary's Burger but every time I'm surprised at how great it is. I douse it with the hot sauce that they give you with your order and it all just works together. The fries are quite good as well.
I suggest just waiting for a seat upstairs if you have a smaller group, people usually filter through pretty quick. The upstairs also gives a good view for people watching if that is your thing.
It is worth the wait if you see a line out the door!

Never had a bad meal here and there is always great music. If you're a rock and metal lover, the sounds will definitely please your ears. Some of the best burgers in Sydney in my opinion! Staff is always super friendly, quick service and always great vibes. It doesn't take bookings and you can have to wait for a table but the smaller your group is, the faster you get seated! Love this place so much.

If you find yourself queuing in a dark alley in front of a door with no sign, you've come to the right place. Best burgers in Sydney. Always super busy but the turnaround is quick and good comes fast and hot. Burgers and fries are delicious and the drinks selection is dope. Only downsides are that the burgers need an acid so bad, like pickles, and there are always people waiting to get in or be seated so I feel like I need to rush out as soon as I'm done rather than order another beer. But yeah I love it and it's worth the queue.
