On Saturday Night a group of over 10 of my friends were some of the first people into El topo, we asked the bar staff if we could use the karaoke room as the sign below indicates its free to use, the bar staff then told us we need to book, so asked if we could book on the spot, they then proceeded to tell us it was a $500 deposit and they needed to take our credit card, when we agreed to this the bar staff then changed their minds and told us it cost $500 to use, a friend of mine brought the sign to them to notify them that we should be able to use it for free as the sign clearly states free use. They then rudely took the sign off of us and told us we were wrong. Poor management, a group of over 10 of us left immediately. Also the music isn't very good.

Worst experience of my life. Service was non-existent and the food tasted like card board and was inedible. You're better off going to McDonald's for dinner, that's saying a lot.

One of the worst experiences I have had. I went to the club and security was so rude. The lady with brunette hair on the door refused me entry after I paid as I made a passing comment saying wow I'm surprised you have to pay entry here. Out of no where she interrupted my conversation and said If you don't like it leave actually you know what leave. Then security came over. He Mocked me as I said this isn't very good customer service and as a business owner myself you don't handle feedback in that manner. I was not drinking as I was driving that night so to be spoken to as if you were intoxicated/mocked about having your own business is disgusting. I have never been back, never will reccomand this venue. Your stuff including security have very bad customer service. I was disgusted in their behaviour.

Had my 40th birthday there and from start to finish everything was amazing. Staff were amazing and the food was brilliant. Top place to host a party. Thanks to all the staff at El Topo!!

We had a pleasant evening here and everything went off smoothly.
The food is delicious and the service is fast, friendly and efficient.
The ambience is relaxed and casual. Prices are reasonable with your Ent. Book discount, and being in a Westfield Shopping Centre, you’ll enjoy free parking in the evening, a safe and manageable environment with clean and adequate bathroom facilities.
On the negative side,I found the lighting too gloomy, making the menu impossible to read, and the booth seating was too cramped.
I was expecting a lively and rather noisy venue, but the lack of other diners made it fairly quiet and laid back.
