Spectacular food. A chef at the top of his game, showing true mastery of flavour, texture, form and experience. Do whatever you need to experience this.

Oh my lord. I'm insanely impressed. I'm beyond impressed. I'm more in love! This intimate little place absolutely DELIVERS. At $65 a head for degustation, it's a steal. And I'll probably get in trouble but it's probably the freshest sashimi I've ever had. So plump! So much flavour. A very good match against Nobu too.

Enjoyed a sensational 11 course meal here last night. Set menu, byo, good service.
Each course seemed better than the last; delectable morsels of simply delicious Japanese styled food. I wanted to lick my plate clean after every course. ...the sauces and pureés are THAT good.
The only ever so slight let down was the size of the Balmain Bug in the Miso soup. Could've done with 2.
My favourite of the meal was the Burdock...tempura I think. Wow.. and the sauce. ..omg the sauce!
The Yuzu sorbet was devine, sherbetty, cleansing .
Probably the best meal I've eaten.
3 months waiting list...well worth it.

Absolutely fantastic degustation and you will not find better for even double or triple the price.
The food is simple, honest and executed to perfection. It really showcases the thought that has gone into it as well as the quality of ingredients used.
The whole menu actually has a wonderful flow and has been crafted so that each course complements the next.
Looking forward to being back for the summer menu!
