Didn't expect much, but this place is awesome, especially on a nice and quiet evening like today. Saw la la land. Really recommend the amex invites lounge.

Only 2 stars. To be honest a little disappointed. Visited 10/03/2017 to see Rogue One.
Purchased star lounge tickets, was advertised to be the best tickets to buy. $40 per person included a guaranteed lounge seat in the prime viewing location, with a blanket, in chair service, and a drink on arrival.
And what did we get?
Seats - An inflatable lounge that I kept rolling off. Everyone was having trouble with these. Deflating it meant I sat lower and had to sit up to see over the head of the people in front of us. Had to move to a better location halfway through the movie. And cuddling your girl in these single seaters was next to impossible. Need better chairs!
Viewing location - We were crammed into a small area just as congested as the cheap seats. This area was also angled to the screen and the cheap seats had a better view.
Blanket - was ok, nice and soft, but could have been bigger.
In chair service - there were 2 staff assigned to maybe 50 people, so service was a bit slow. But they did their best and were very pleasant.
The drink on arrival - to be honest it was not the best, white wine from NZ in a plastic cup. Some premium choices would have been appreciated but it seemed to be the cheap and nasty variety only available.
The movie experience was not the best, lots of distractions with flapping flags everywhere, people walking around constantly during the movie, planes zooming overhead, car headlights can be seen through the transparent fencing, and with the wind the inflatable screen was wobbling round a bit. Lots of bugs and mozzies around being so close to the river.
The food was ok, not a huge selection, but quality was ok.
Key tips for people going:
Don't pay for star lounge or lounge hire, BYO chair.
Bring insect repellent.
Consider going to a proper cinema instead.
Ideas for the people running the show:
Angle the screen at the star lounge.
Properly blackout the fencing.
Have more drink and food selections.
Get some more comfortable chairs, get rid of them hectic air cushions!
Space out the star lounge seating more for a premium experience.
Improve the staff to patron ratio in star lounge.
