Following a bit of a stressful situation involving my cat being unwell, I took him in to see the staff at Carlton Vet. Conveniently this is the closest vet to my house, and that only sweetens the deal due to the outstanding service I received both in making my appointment, as well as organising treatment.
Rachel was incredibly friendly and helpful at the front desk and has a calming air of experience when I asked a few questions. Dr Helen was also fantastic and not only was able to slot the minor surgery in during a quiet period (meaning my cat didn't need to stay overnight), but also turned my worry around with her clear communication and empathy toward financial options.
My cat is now on the mend, and I highly commend both staff for turning a very worried and upset cat dad into a permanent customer of the clinic; one I will be recommending to all.

Friendly little vet surgery that genuinely cares about animals. Very professional and well-run (e.g., I get a text message on public holidays telling me where to get emergency vet treatment when they are closed).

We've never had such a good vet. The difference has been the deep caring. It seems to really, really matter to Tom and his team that our pet is doing ok and responding to the treatment - it blew me away when I got a follow up call, "We're just wanting to know how Mollie is doing." That was so sweet, and so indicative of their whole approach to animal care. Their advice, insights, analysis and recommendations have also been extremely sound. Thank you!!
