All card payments incur a $1.50 charge, no matter how much the purchase. And staff didn't even tell us, after 3 round of wines (each time 2 glasses at happy hour) we realized and talked to the staff. He points to sign the size of a post-it at the other end of the bar. Total rip off!

Fantastic little bar. Friendly staff, great music with an open fire if you just want to chill. Great place for groups and couples with good outdoor seating :)

Dead quiet on a Sunday, the keg of beer runs out, mulled wine not ready, then the unfriendly waitress wants to charge us $1.50 for a Paywave/Eftpos transaction. All card payments incur a $1.50 charge, no matter how much the purchase. Really? Come on, how can these places justify themselves to have these charges, is it not illegal to charge a fee on Paywave? Then the waitress had to nerve to say the ATM out the front was broken, when actually it wasn't. Then, I went and sat down and said I'd pay later as we may get another drink, and not long after she comes out and reminds me that I still had to pay.
Typical Chapel Street snobby bar, which we won't be going back to again.
