Authentic trendy Mexican restaurant. Always busy and thriving with people each night. Queues build up for dinner down the stairs but diners move through quickly. I had the crispy fish tacos, street corn and a beautiful (but spicy) Ling aguachile. A nice selection of mezcal and tequila options too. Highly recommended

Best mexican food I have had so far. Place was packed and very loud but the food was so delicious that it was worth it. The house made horchata was also delicious. Staff were friendly and very helpful. Worth every penny.

Mamasita is a household name for Mexican food in Melbourne. Always crowded on the weekend and walk-ins only, so I would recommend coming before dinner rush hour. Corn on the cob and in the cup tasted different! The cup had some sauces besides the cheese and the powder on th cob. Queasadillas and tacos are light and tasty. Overall experience is great but comes at a slightly above average price. Expect around $35 pp.

As a student dining here led to a painful hit to the wallet, but damn was it worth it. Exceptional service (fun, friendly, quick and knowledgeable staff), nice location with a good cozy atmosphere. More importantly, the food was exceptional and the tequila shots were sublime.
Expect to spend upwards of $50 for a meal and a drink or two, I do feel it's a very justifiable occasional dinner though! I'm looking forward to my next visit!

Oh my gosh, this place is something like no other, totally amazing!!! I can't fault it! The RESTAURANT was a chic, cool vibe, the SERVICE above and beyond (they must train and treat their staff really well) because it SHOWS you just don't get this kind of service in most places, the FOOD, I can't stop thinking about it, it was devine!! Who would have thought Corn on the Cob could taste so so good. Keep doing what your doing people and THANK YOU! Lisa Green
