This restaurant is a joke. The 2 course $55 set menu with entree and main was a disgrace. The entree was a selection of bite sized morsels that were caked in salt. In fact, salt is all I tasted all night and felt sick afterwards. Don’t go for a fish main as the portion is so ridiculously minuscule, you can barely see it! And this price didn’t even include drinks. Never ever again! Not even worth one star.

Really cramped inside, we struggled to crouch in sideways to get a seat. The people next to us could hear every word we were saying even when we spoke quietly. Not private at all. Horrible. In the back courtyard it's noisy and rowdy. I could hear the back courtyard noise both inside and outside, even from our car in the street at the front. This place has an identity crisis between wine bar, yobbo pub and cafe. He's trying too hard to milk all the avenues of making money, and is harming his initial credibility as an upmarket Kew establishment.

Great breakfast joint. Cute courtyard in the back. Service was friendly.

Excellent coffee. Most likely the best coffee in the area. Place is big and cozy. Service is great. Highly recommended.

Went here because it was rated highly and I needed a cafe and a good hearty breakfast close to where I was. I walked in with my pram and the guy working there asked if I needed help with something. I said well I wanted to sit to eat but looks like all tables are full. He said well you can sit outside - it's covered. So I go to sit outside and another waiter comes up and directs me to a fully covered room with heaters....which would of been nice for the first waiter to tell me instead of sit outside in the cold with your baby. Then I waited 10 minutes for someone to take my order. I got the CRU breakfast and I'm sorry to say none of it was good. Eggs lacked any flavor, the tomatoes were too spicy with pepper, the hash browns tasted like rosemary and the sausages just didn't taste good. The bacon was fine. My cappuccino was fine but not over the top. Then I needed to leave and noticed I could walk out the back. The guy there said that was better than squeezing through the front (in which when I arrived no one working there attempted to help with the door, two steps and my pram). So I walk out the back so I don't have to squeeze through the front again and it's a very uneven cobblestone road. I would of rather squeezed through the front door again rather than take my baby on such a bumpy ride. Needless to say - I won't be back based on service and quality.
