Drove up from Hobart just to be on the tour as its one of my go to beers. The tour guide was very friendly and the highlight was tasting the two beers we can't get in SA. There was a nice atmosphere. I wanted to buy a shirt and stuff but found it to expensive. In spite the 4 hour drive I wasn't disappointed. Was a bit disappointed that your not allowed to take photos while on the tour.

Awsome tour in Boags Brewery at $33. The whole industry was fantastic. At last the three cheese with beers was most exiting. The Mersey Valley cheese was so good.

Review of lunch - not the tour.
The brewery restaurant had a limited menu, however food was reasonably priced and good. The "beer garden" was situated in the carpark and there had no views of the nearby river. Overall a pleasant experience but would not recommend unless attending the tour - there are much nicer places in Launceston for a meal out.

Free parking at the back of the building, fantastic and knowledgable tour guide. The beer and cheese at the end was brilliant, too.
The big thing that spoiled this experience for me was booking on a day where the factory wasn't even operating (no bottling of beer, no employees whatsoever in the factory making things happen). Be sure to book on a day where you can get the full experience and enjoy it to the maximum!
