Wow! What wonderful people and nice honest caring vets receptionist and the nurses. I was going to a different vet in Geelong and they were very nice but they were so expensive! I got my dogs teeth done yesterday and she got 3 pulled out and the cost was $400 and for dental week they kindly gave me a $50 off voucher so I paid only $350. The other vet I was going to was $1200 each time she had dental work!! My dog had about four visits at my old vet for Teeth extrations and it was $1200 each time!! Dr Paws is wonderful and I can't believe how much cheaper they are and they are so caring about my girl and myself. They are very professional and excellent. I highly recommend Dr Paws!! I can't thank you enough for looking after my baby girl and being such wonderful caring people. ❤️👏👍😁

Not a vet I would ever even consider taking my own pets to again. And to anyone finding injured wildlife, this vet has a policy of 'if it's injured, put it down'
after finding a little baby wattlebird who had been attacked by a crow, I called this clinic which they responded 'bring the bird in straight away and we will do everything we can to help it' upon bringing it to the vet, this must have changed. As soon as the receptionist saw the box she said to me what's in there, I told her the wattle bird I called about, she asked if it was injured which I stated yes. Without even looking inside the box she told me that if a wildlife is injured they simply just euthanise it. After starting to get frustrated about this, the vet ended up taking 30 seconds out of her day and had a look at this bird. She told me there was no point even trying to help it because it had an open wound and she would quickly just euthanise it. I told them to give the bird back and I will take it somewhere that will actually help.. they were reluctant about giving this bird back (don't undersatand why as they were just going to put it down anyway).
I then proceeded to drive to the bird and exotic animal clinic in Williamstown. They straight away looked at the bird and told me that he will be ok and that it was just a tiny wound.. they spent half an hour of their time cleaning up the wound and giving some pain meds along with anti biotics. its been 5 days and I have received photos today of how well the little bird is going. My point is, this clinic on Anakie Rd is absolutely hopeless and I feel as though if there is no money involved they do not want to hear about it nor do they even seem to know what they are doing. My suggestion to all, find a vet that actually cares about animals

My daughter and I have been with Dr Paws for at least eight years and in that time we have been treated like family. We recently had our beloved cat euthanized. The staff as well as ourselves were upset. We wish to thank everyone at Dr Paws for their wonderful care of Shortie over the years.
