Beautiful place with a lovely cafe. Go there often with family and it's wheelchair accessible. Endearing bonsai garden / collection and a nice walk around the grounds if not too windy. Also love looking in the gift shop, great for present shopping!

Gorgeous views of Canberra and west to the Brindabella Mountains. The bonsai exhibition is fascinating now and the forests will be beautiful with a few more years of growth. Plenty of interesting stuff at the gift shop, not all related to trees and arboreta.
Cafe is a little overpriced and their food display is poorly laid out with some of the best afternoon tea items only visible after placing & paying for your order.

Had a delightful lunch at the conservatory restaurant beautiful food and a comprehensive menu. The grounds to look out upon are developing well and the whole area is fast becoming one of the definite to do places for visitors to Canberra

Never been to an Arboretum, so maybe it's pretty good as far as that goes. I just wished the trails were more well defined and the trees more mature. Maybe it will get better with time.

I love this place!
Rolling hills and great lookouts over the Canberra and the arboretum itself. Definitely worth going at sunset hours to catch the sunlight spilling over the slopes and through the trees.
It's such a great initiative and I can't wait to see what it looks like when the trees grow up! Wish we had something like this in Sydney!
