Our cat recently arrived on a direct flight from NZ. She has a NZ microchip, the question I had to find out, would the NZ microchip need to be removed, and an Aussie one inserted?, or maybe they could use the Kiwi one?. I stopped at three vets on my way home from Brisbane airport, asking the same question each time, "could the NZ microchip be used in Australia?". All three clinics were baffled, unable to answer my question, in fact they seemed quite confused. So I Googled "great vet reviews", Coorparoo Veterinary Clinic was at the top. I called the number, spoke with a lovely lady, who said "we can see you now, just come on in". To cut a long story short, they knew what needed to be done, fill in a simple form, then post it. Cooparoo Vets took the time to sort out my problem, personally ringing the cat registry service, double checking the details and explaining what I needed to do. I even paid the $10 Australian cat registry fee via Coorparoo Vets. Coorparoo Vets absolutely adore their animals, they are extremely passionate, kind caring people. They went out of their way to ensure our cat was safe, providing me with wonderful personalised customer service, even sharing valuable information to help our cat settle into her new life here in Australia. They did not charge a fee to do this. Thank you Coorparoo Vets, we now know where to go for great service, and extra special pet care. Your kindness is very much appreciated - I hope my Google review will help other pet owners in their search for a wonderful vet - as it did for me!
