Beautiful, well designed mature park close to almost everything in Brisbane, easy to spend 5 minutes or a few hours here. There is at least one Cafe and so many diverse and beautiful plants.

Nice place, would I visit just for the hell of it with no other motive.... don't think so. If you happen to be in the city it is worth going for a look. Decent spot to take some photos.

Clean and open. Good wildlife spot. Has plenty of jogging track, and areas for games. Often free yoga and workout sessions. Children's park is nice. Nice worry areas near to water to eat or relax. Plenty of seating. Beautiful variety of trees, flowers, and even grass

It's called the botanical gardens, and that may have been the original intention, but that's not really an accurate description. It's mostly just open grass areas with some gardens with limited varieties of plants and a couple of sculptures. It's still a pleasant place to take a walk in winter, not enough shade to be pleasant in summer, so 3 stars is fair. Could be improved with plaques identifying the plant species and information about the species. Also more plants, especially if they are grouped in themes, like native plants section, and then grouped buy country or content of origin, or themed mini gardens.

Beautiful, well maintained gardens at the heart of the city. Good for a few minutes or a few hours. There's ponds, play parks and loads of beautiful borders to wonder around.
You can get guided tours here if you like. Just go to the central pavilion. They leave two times a day and are free.
