Good Backpacker bar with ok drink prices. An easy staple to fall back on

This is the bad apple that ruins Fortitude Valley. I got singled out with the egotistical "locals only" routine and so decided the venue wasn't worth my time and decided to leave. The group of guys giving me a hard time decided they weren't done with me quite yet and decided to follow me to the door. I asked two security guards to help me defuse the situation and they couldn't careless. I had to start a scene in the venue just to get the security to do their job so I could leave without the prospect of six guys chasing me down once outside. Despicable considering how many great nightclubs are literally around the corner from here.

The bar itself is very rowdy. If you get too rowdy or frisky, they will kick you out.

Favourite club when I can't think of anywhere better to go. DJ is always great. Great place to dance. Queue at the bar is constantly three people thick. Bathrooms are snazzy and full of drama. Outdoor area is huge, Bali themed and has another bar. The pool lingers temptingly in the corner yet is always closed. Has a third storey that I always forget about. Access via two flights of stairs. Lift has been broken for a year at least. Sometimes they have wet t-shirt contests. There's a backpackers hostel right next door so look forward to foreigners leering on the edges of the floor. Great vibes all around though, very popular amongst 18 and 19 year olds but I see people as old as 24 here.

Wonderful staff, fast service with excellent nights out on Thursday and Saturday. Does tend to have multiple promotional happy hours and cheap basics on most nights.
