Total disregard and respect for local residents, exemplified by the disgusting overuse of fireworks for the Wizard of Oz shows. In just seven days, there are eight firework displays in South Brisbane. It's been just over a month since Riverfire - for goodness sake how much more do we really need? If you're that desperate to see some sparkly lights, Kmart sells 16 for $1.00. Stop the noise and light pollution, it's harming our animals and a massive pain in the a** for everyone else.

The premier location for orchestral music, opera, musical theatre and ballet in Brisbane. Most of the big touring productions play here. The Lyric Theatre is great, but avoid the second balcony as you're so high up that you can't really feel part of the action. In the Concert Hall, all of the stalls seating is good, but the acoustic can be unbalanced in the choir stalls.

Have been to see Kinky Boots. Thoroughly enjoyed the show, the lead was absolutely fantastic. A terrific crew, very enthusiastic and bubbly. Definitely a stage show worth seeing.

Fantastic show. Great story about accepting others. Lola/ Simon great performance looked fabulous . Angel dancer great legs.

Parking is simple, train station across the road should you decide not to drive. Food is quick and delicious allowing plenty of time to arrive at the Theatre door ..The performances and entertainment are extremley good ...Seats comfortable to relax and enjoy the shows... People / helpers/ ushers are relaxed, helpful and happy to assist.. Great times had there
