First off, the bar staff here are extremely friendly and I congratulate them on their customer service skills. They clearly work well together and have a really great vibe behind the bar that easily reflects some great management and respectable people working well together. They made working hospitality seem fun, and I'd be glad to join in with them behind the bar!

Unfortunately, the other side of the bar is the polar opposite. I fail to understand why the owner or manager of this place doesn't employ professional security guards. Down under bar has really quite a gaggle going on!

There's one morbidly obese islander, who clearly enjoys the attention he receives from kicking people out and then not providing them with a reason. Presumably he's from a large family and wasn't paid enough attention as a child.
The Michelin man-looking islander appeared to be completely unsatisfied with the team he was working with and there for had taken it upon himself to post several of his family members or friends in all corners of the venue. They were not consuming anything, nor contributing anything more than an aggressively intimidating gaze when you unfortunately bumped into them or looked in their.direction. It was the kind of gaze achieved only by a childhood filled with plenty of idle time, black eyes and hand-me-downs.

Wearing a stab proof vest (for reasons blatantly obvious as soon as she opens her poisonous trap) is a very racist and unpleasant woman who was possibly emotionally hurt by someone very close to her heart at some point and therefore communicates with nothing but complete aggression and attitude. I feel as though her attitude is about half and half both an attempt at being sassy and a defensive mechanism similar to a small blonde Chihuahua.
She then has a steroid abusing cuck at her side constantly who was not intellectually capable of doing anything more than an angry stare when he didn't like someone's behaviour, and laughing when his master drilled her next victim.

One incident I saw take place with the Chihuahua and her cuck, was when a group of four female tourists were unfortunate enough to be in the line whilst the steroid abusing cuck was doing the identification checks, and the Chihuahua was reviewing people in the line (surprisingly showing some initiative; she was letting people know if they were too drunk to get in and telling them to not bother waiting in line).
When she came across the four sober and passive tourists, she was disgusted to see one of them drinking from a cup, approximately 500 mils of some clear liquid which was probably water. She screamed obnoxiously at the four German woman that it was illegal to drink in the streets of Brisbane, before telling her to tip her drink into the gutter. The Chihuahua, in full defensive mode , then yelled at them from a distance of about a meter not to litter in her f**king country, and that she had grown tired of immigrants (paraphrasing here). I was next in line, and I felt as though approaching the entrance was literally enrolling for a boot camp run by the Chihuahua and her cuck. She eyed me up and yelled "ARE YOU AUSTRALIAN?"
I was quite taken back, and didn't have the required lack of cognitive mechanical ability to see this situation as humorous. I replied "No, I'm from New Zealand" and got let into the venue after a well rehearsed and textbook id check done by her cuck.

I've managed security teams in Christchurch, New Zealand for about 4 years now. I've never seen such a sad and confused attempt at security and risk mitigation. There's a huge long list of what the people employed as security here need, but some support from an occupational therapist and a career change would be a great start.

Usually, I love the Down Under Bar and Grill. To be honest though, every now and again you have a security guard who is overly selective and discriminatory towards people who are trying to enter the venue. A few months ago I tried to enter the venue after 10:30pm, and after not a single drink, a certain security guard denied me entry. Last night, I tried to enter The Down Under Bar and Grill and my friend was denied entry by the same security guard, and he had only had one drink that evening. I usually enjoy a great trip to Dunder, however I will not be attending your venue again. I will be telling every tourist and visitor in this city the same thing and telling them to pass the message on. It's not fair and I would ask that the security guard in question is reviewed, so that your entry policy is consistent and fair. If this
is not addressed, he may ruin many nights out for potential people who love and enjoy what The Down Under Bar and Grill has to offer.

I went to this club for the late night. Most things were closed in the area. The DJ was good half of the time. But I also went for lunch and I had the brisket burger. It was tender and tasty. Friendly staff as well.
