Worst coffee experience ever. Absolutely no idea how to make coffee, had a quality machine, decent beans but terrible and so unfriendly.

Not sure what all the good reviews are for but I was expecting maybe some fresh local fish, Sorry NZ Hoki and NZ Hoki and NZ Hoki great variety 😩😩

We ordered chips and they were absolutely terrible. They looked like last nights chips had been microwaved! Disappointed!

I wanted to love this place, having found it at the top of a list of the best fish n chip places in the region. The good: The fish was nice - nothing spectacular, but nice. The not-so-good: The young woman who served me was unfriendly; not overtly rude, just unsmiling and cold. Despite ordering around 4PM, there was no selection of fish, only NZ hoki; given it's a seaside fish n chip place, it would have been nice to at least have a couple of options. The serving size was also much smaller than from other local places. The bad: The chips... ugh!! Possibly the worst, soggiest, floppiest, chips I've ever bought. They somehow managed to make them overly greasy AND undercooked. I tried, but I just couldn't eat them, they were that bad. In the end, I brought them home and finished cooking them myself in the frypan with some oil, which improved them, confirming that they were definitely not cooked properly to begin with.
