We looked forward to this for over a week(anniversary), food was great, meat was so tender and full of flavour, but that's where the good comments stop, on arriving the boss(ponytail) tried to get us to buy a cheese board when we had the $50 voucher for all u could eat for value of $175 total which was strange (why paid for more food when your getting $175 worth),we were the 2nd table to arrive and the last to eat, 1hr waiting for food no wonder he tried to get more money of us, the waitress never keep an eye on us, we were there for 1 1/2hrs and only had 1 drink each because waitress never came back infact after we showed up we never heard anything from staff, and for the people who likes there Rum/Burbon etc u will be charge $1 extra to have soft drink, example JD says $8.50 but that's straight u want coke in it it would b $9.50, by the way I'm a chef also, so in all,if you want your $175 worth expect to be there till 2am and u will go thristy while u wait, I will NEVER!!!! go back to this place. My wife to be was crying after we walk out because how we were treated, all men don't put your love one through this crap!!
P.s 1/3 of platter was deep fried so why in hell does in take 1hr to come out,
On the bright side,I will now read all comments or post to a restaurant to see How they treat customers from now

We had a fabulous dinner on Friday the 28th of April at Godwin's Table. The food, recommended by the owner Sasha, and the portions served was excellent and his personal touch added to our wonderful evening. Will definitely go there again and again when in Adelaide. We sang your praises to our family and friends. Thank you Sasha. (Jeff and Susan from Mumbai)

We will NEVER EVER step foot inside this establishment again - EVER !!!
Rude Staff and the only way to describe the food is woefull without flavour.
Bought a Groupon Voucher for $49 stating food valued at $174.50 FALSE ADVERTISING
We had to wait ONE month to get a booking...
We had to wait ONE hour before the platter full of fillers arrived - hard cold bread and nothing to dip it in... 3 assorted skewers 3 bowls of tasteless nothing and pilaf (?) and chips...
They call themselves a restaurant ???
Don't try to call to make a booking as they rarely answer...just leave leave your name and phone number and they get back to you in a couple of days.
Don't waste the fuel in your tank getting there, just take a $50 note and tear it up.
Thanks for the most unpleasant dining experience EVER!!!
Groupon Voucher = No service

My very 1st google review but because it was super intolerable. Been there before and it was alright, but one last time last Sunday, will never return because the rude owner knows nothing about service and he shocked me a few times within 3 hours. Rang at 2.55pm to book a table for 6.30pm, nobody answered. 'They must be busy cleaning up for the morning, and fair enough, they close at 3pm.' Thoughtful me. Got a ring back at 5.30pm 'Can you come at 7pm instead?' says the owner. 'How about I come between 6.30 and 7pm because I don't know if 7pm suits my friend?' 'Ok, thanks.' (hung up).

I still got there at 6.35pm, stepped in, there was only one table taken by 2-3 people. I thought it would be crowded because of his request. Anyway, after my friend arrived and read the menu with me, it took us minutes to capture the attention of those four staff behind the high bench, while there were only two tables taken in the entire restaurant. We ordered a main and a salad just because we don't normally eat much, then my friend ordered a soft drink, but I just didn't feel like any drink.

Then I got the 1st shock straight away. 'It is very strange that someone orders food without a drink.' murmured the rude owner but still at a volume that I could hear, and he looked serious. 'I just don't feel...' 'That's alright, no problem.' And walked away immediately. He cut my sentence.

After dinner, I wanted to order a cup of tea at 8.30pm, and here came the 2nd shock. 'Can I order a cuppa?' I said.
'Sorry our machine is switched off.' says the weird owner.
'But I'd just like a cup of tea.'
'The machine is switched off, sorry.' not looking a bit apologetic, he repeated. (He needed a coffee machine to make tea out of a tea bag?! And asked me to come at 7pm while cuppas would be stopped at 8.30pm??!!)
'We'll have the bill then.' I still gave a normal response.

We paid with a Shop A Docket coupon of 25% off. The 3rd shock followed.
'This should be for two mains.' He said.
'Oh, I didn't know because it's not written on the coupon.' I said gently, still.
'Some people gave me this on a cup of coffee, you know, ridiculous!' The rude man started whining.
(Seriously??! Was it our fault that his restaurant wasn't marketed the way he wanted?)
I stayed quiet when my lovely friend was still trying to comfort him by saying 'Food was very nice.' poor girl is usually an honest person!!
