A unique taste of indian food. Food can take a while to come out but that is usually a sign that it is cooked fresh. Highly recommend the tandoori prawns.

We went as a group of 15 (booked 3 days in advance) and we had to wait over an hour and a half for our mains.
The waiter showed no interest in ensuring we were having a good time and had enough drinks. One of my friends had to ask three times for his drink. Our orders were all forgotten and mixed up by the time they did come out (and some of the food was cold). During the whole process none of the staff seemed at all apologetic or even aware that they were causing any frustration.
They didn't offer any complimentary food or a discount to make up for the delay, nor did they inform us in advance that it was going to be such a long wait.
If you want to go with a large number of people, I suggest placing your orders in advance, since they don't seem able to effectively cater for 15 (and we were most of the patrons).
Sad to see such poor performance; this used to be one of my regular places to go. I'm assuming it's under new management since I was last there.

It was stuffy inside the restaurant yesterday, the tandoor oven was broken, so you couldn't have most of the menu items, and the two chicken items we had were pretty poor, with a slightly commercial taste, probably overcooked/defrosted sauces, and severe lack of quality that you'd expect from a restaurant-type venue. Never going back.

Food tasted nice. We were the only people in the restaurant for the entire meal. After 5 minutes we had to ask for table service for a drink. Waitress knew nothing about the wines or cider that they sell. Finally managed to order food. 45 minutes later the food was wheeled out. Had to ask for another drink. Cigarette smoke eminated from the kitchen while we were eating. Overall food was nice but staff and service were terrible.
