This place is gorgeous, the rooms, pool, and nearby shopping are very nice. The inner "lagoon" area is meh, but the private island is perfect! The only possible downside is that you need to take a ferry boat to the private island, but some (like my kids) see that as an exciting feature!

Always a great place to stay
Lots to do. Convenient to downtown and the upscale Renaissance Mall
Great staff

Been staying here probably 8 years now every time we visit Aruba. It's wonderful except this year they allowed people from the cruise ships to use the private beach. It didn't go well.

We had a great experience at the Renaissance Ocean Suites. This is a Marriott property and members with status get a lot of perks. The property pool and beach are limited, but staying here gives you free access to the Renaissance private island which will not disappoint! This resort is downtown and much less crowded than the high-rise hotels. This creates a much more relaxing atmosphere not having to fight for lounge chairs and palapas. If you want the buzz and nightlife, just pop on the bus for $2.60 and head down to the high-rise area.

Nice getaway with beautiful views and access to private island beaches. Friendly and helpful staff. Music at pool is too loud. Many modern amenities only available by walk or golf cart ride to the Marina hotel, including fitness and business centers.
